The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC), one of Connecticut's most recognized and trusted brands, is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and collaborative General Counsel to join our executive leadership team.

As General Counsel, you'll serve as the organization's chief legal advisor and a trusted partner to the President & CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership team, helping guide strategy, strengthen governance, manage legal risk, and uphold the integrity and public trust that define CLC.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting directly to the President & Chief Executive Officer, the General Counsel serves as the Corporation's chief legal officer and a key member of the executive leadership team.
You will provide strategic legal counsel across the organization, advising on governance, regulatory compliance, procurement, contracts, litigation, employment, and other complex legal matters while supporting the Corporation's strategic priorities.
Working closely with executive leadership, regulators, outside counsel, and the Board of Directors, you will help manage enterprise risk, strengthen governance, and ensure the Corporation continues to operate with the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and public confidence.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a primarily onsite leadership role based at our headquarters in Wallingford, Connecticut. We believe our best ideas come from working together, and our leaders are highly engaged with their teams. At the same time, we recognize the value of flexibility and support a work environment that includes limited remote work when business needs allow.
